Digitizing
Digitizing is the process we use to convert physical paper patterns to scale into the computer. This is a service that can benefit everyone who wants to get a digital copy of their patterns, and it is the starting point for many of the services we offer such as new patterns created from a reference, alterations, grading and marker making layouts. Our team does this using specialized software called AccuMark, Gerber Technology.
Digital patterns can be shared and collaborated on remotely, or opened in other programs such as CLO 3D, Optitext and Adobe Illustrator. Faster pattern making can be achieved because digital patterns can be easily manipulated, modified, and graded, saving significant time. Digitized patterns can be directly integrated into automated cutting and marking systems, streamlining production, and can be easily stored and backed up, protecting your designs.
Whether you are a business or home sewer, digitizing your pattern library can reduce the overhead cost of storing patterns by creating a digital library of all your styles, eliminating the need for space to maintain them. By digitizing your patterns, you can significantly improve your design process, increase efficiency, and enhance the overall quality of your products.
As long as your patterns are on paper (any kind!) and have the right shapes that you want, we can work with it! If you are missing information, or 'industry' markings, that is ok - we will take your pattern and add these things, and more, to ensure your pattern is production ready for you to either use or pass along to a factory.
